EDITORIAL: REMODELING OF JOS-NORTH LGC’S LEGISLATIVE CHAMBER: IN DEFENCE OF CHAIRMAN, JOHN. K. CHRIS’ INITIATIVE

Image
As long as governance and the implementation of government policies are a continuing process, the idea of building on the imprint of Predecessors by Successors is advised and encouraged. The ideas of Predecessors are usually linked to the needs of the people during the lifetime of an administration, just like the remodeling of our ancestral houses in our villages. In Plateau State, revered and admired J. D Gomwalk, had several ideas during his administration’s lifetime in Plateau State, which were later developed into Architectural Designs. He did not completely develop all, but his Successors, among which was, late Chief Solomon D. Lar, made them visible and functional. Despite his efforts, others taking the part of Solomon Lar, continued to remodel these edifices. Among these lofty ideas of J. D. Gomwalk is the Plateau State Secretariat, which is still named after him.  BARR. CHRIS, CHAIRMAN JOS-NORTH LGC   In Plateau State, Sen. Jonah Jang, had designed and built the ...

Adding that “The report is not only a misrepresentation of the facts on the ground, but a sponsored mischief, aimed at tarnish the good reputation of the state government”. The Senior Special Assistance to the Governor on Public Affairs, Hon.   Peter Ahemba, stated that the “Nasarawa State Administration has continued to give adequate attention to the Educat...

Valentine Adese (JP), secure The Christmas celebration in Plateau State is going on peaceful, as the security operatives in the state would take no nonsense or allow any breach, after promising the Plateau State Governor, Caleb M. Mutfwang (Esq) of the protection of lives and properties in the state. GOV. MUTFWANG Esq You would also recall that REALITY had reported that the Executive Chairman of Jos-North Council (LGC), Barr. He had also promised the residents that he would lose his sleep, “to make them go to sleep with their two eyes closed”.
