You would also recall that REALITY had reported that the Executive Chairman of Jos-North Council (LGC), Barr. John K. Christopher, had promised residents of the Local Government Area (LGA) to have faith in Governor Caleb Mutfwang (Esq), and go about their celebration.
He had also promised the residents that he would lose his sleep, “to make them go to sleep with their two eyes closed”.
However, the celebration
has taken a political turn, as Lawmakers under the Platform of the Labour Party
(LP) and All Progressives Congress (APC), have taken the occasion to bring
succor to most people in the state irrespective of tribe, religion, zone or
party affiliation.
The Minister of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Reduction, Prof. Nentawe Yilwatda, is not left out on this, as most homes are dragging into their kitchens, bags of rice branded with President Tinubu’s picture.

Also, the Plateau State Governorship candidate in 2023, Prof. S. Dakum, did not just distribute out rice, but took specially recognition of 250 widows in his community to benefit from other items, which included some Media Houses in the state.
