BREAKING: PROF NENTAWE YILWATDA’S APPOINTMENT: HON. SHEHU BALA USMAN’S LED APC LIKE MINDS MOVEMENT, COMMENDS PRESIDENT TINUBU, WHIPS ALLEGED FACELESS TIMKAT’S GROUP

A group under the aegis of “APC Like Minds Movement”, led by the former Executive Chairman of Jos North Local Government, Hon. Shehu Bala Usman, has commended President Ahmed Bola Tinubu for appointing, Prof. Nentawe Yilwatda to head the Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Reduction.

The group gave this commendation today, during a press briefing at the NUJ Press Center in Jos.

Speaking on behalf of the group, Hon. Shehu Bala said, Prof. Nentawe's qualifications and credentials demonstrates his ability to excel as Minister of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Reduction.

Adding that “We support his nomination and commend President Bola Ahmed Tinubu's wise choice”.

In part, Hon. Shehu said, “We, the APC Like Minds and other Plateau citizens of goodwill, stand with Prof. Nentawe Yilwatda on his nomination which he earned on merit and his unblemished record of excellence in his previous national assignments.

“We commend Mr. President for choosing a distinguished Plateau son to superintend over the Ministry based on competence, and qualities.

We acknowledged the appointment as apt, we are optimistic that Prof. Nentawe will assist the President in driving his "Renewed Hope Agenda" by working assiduously to unite Nigerian, maintaining equity and fairness.

 “Prof. Nentawe is a man of peace, unity and progress who believes in Nigeria's unity.

“His credentials makes him suitable for the job while his appointment reflects President Tinubu's commitment to merit-based selections”.

Whipping an alleged faceless group led by one Timkat, that had a press briefing during the weekend and rejecting their position concerning the office Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Reduction,  Hon. Shehu said, “Timkat and his faceless group need t be educated”.

He said, “Therefore, we reject in its entirety any attempt to politicize his humanitarian agenda.

“We wish to educate Timkat and his ignorant Co-travelers that leadership in any Federal Ministry particularly Humanitarian transcends gender, and

“Prof. Nentawe's dedication will ensure effective humanitarian aid is provided to vulnerable Nigerians.

“We believe that the bad blood fellows and their sponsors are aware of the fact that Prof. Nentawe will add significant value to the renewed hope agenda, hence, discrediting his appointment.

“In conclusion, Prof. Nentawe's qualifications and credentials demonstrate his ability to excel as Minister of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Reduction.

“We support his nomination and commend President Bola Ahmed Tinubu's wise choice”.

KILLING OF CHILDREN AND WOMEN IN JOS NORTH AND RIYOM LGAs: HON. AUDU ADO ADERE FROWNS, CALLS FOR JUSTICE

Audu Ado Adere has frowned at the killings of children and women in Dong Kasa in Jos North and Kwi in Riyom Local Government Areas (LGAs) of Plateau State. The former Lawmaker, who was a member the Plateau State House of Assembly and former member of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Congress Committee for 2021 said he is deeply saddened by the reoccurrence of the killings in the state.
