ALLEGED LIBELOUS PUBLICATIONS: HON. PWAJOK (SAN) vs HON. JAMES NYANGO: CASE ADJOURNED TO THE 5TH OF DECEMBER 2024, FOR CMC AGAIN

The Suit No: PLD/J322/2024, filed by Hon. Edward Pwajok (SAN), against Hon. James Nyango, at the Plateau State High Court, over alleged Libelous Publication against his person, has been adjourned again, to the 5th of December 2024 for Case Management Conference again.

At the hearing of the suit yesterday, the Defendant served four (4) processes including the answers to the CMC form on the Claimant’s Counsel, C. I. Paul (Esq), who was leading J. Y. Gwom (Esq) and another.

Other processes include a Motion for Preliminary Objection to the suit, at about 10.9am.

The Claimant’s Counsel had applied for an adjournment to enable him respond/react to the processes.

But, he however made the Court presided over by Hon. Justice N. Boniface, to note that the processes why not coming from a new lawyer as James Aneakwane Esq, who was holding brief for P. B Tuwang (Esq) calmed.

He said, “All the processes are signed by the same old Defence Counsel”.

You would recall that REALITY had reported that, at the hearing of Suit No: PLD/J322/2024, filed by Hon. Edward Pwajok (SAN), against Hon. James Nyango at the Plateau State High Court, over alleged Libelous Publication against his person, the Court was told that the Defendant had not filed his defence.

The Counsel to the Claimant (E. G. Pwajok SAN) J. Y. Gwom (Esq), also told the Court that the Defendant did not also file his Questions and Answers for the Pre-hearing Session.

Audu Ado Adere has frowned at the killings of children and women in Dong Kasa in Jos North and Kwi in Riyom Local Government Areas (LGAs) of Plateau State.
