MOVES TO DRAG PLATEAU STATE SPEAKER TO COURT OVER CONTEMPT, THICKENS—INVESTIGATION

There are strong moves within various Political and Legal circles to drag the Speaker of the Plateau State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Gabriel Dewan, to Court, over alleged disobedience to swear in the entire Plateau State Lawmakers under the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC), as ordered by the Court of Appeal, Abuja Division.

 REALITY also gathered that the move is aimed at making sure that, his prosecution would be a future deterrent to any other person occupying such political office in the future.

KILLING OF CHILDREN AND WOMEN IN JOS NORTH AND RIYOM LGAs: HON. AUDU ADO ADERE FROWNS, CALLS FOR JUSTICE

Audu Ado Adere has frowned at the killings of children and women in Dong Kasa in Jos North and Kwi in Riyom Local Government Areas (LGAs) of Plateau State. The former Lawmaker, who was a member the Plateau State House of Assembly and former member of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Congress Committee for 2021 said he is deeply saddened by the reoccurrence of the killings in the state. Hon. Adere, in a statement yesterday, described the act as, “barbaric, callous and a desperate attempt to rupture the peace and security in the two LGAs and the State at large”. 2025 PLATEAU STATE BUDGET: PLATEAU RADIO/TV CORPORATION (PRTVC) COMMENDED BY STATE HOUSE OF ASSEMBLY, OVER 2024 BUDGET PERFORMANCE

Valentine Adese (JP), The Plateau State House of Assembly Standing Committee on Information has commended the leadership of the Plateau Radio/Tv Corporation (PRTC) for what it described as its outstanding performance in the 2024 Budget, even when the year is yet to end. The Committee gave this commendation during the 2025 Plateau State Budget Defence by PRTVC Management, which held in Room 1, at the state House of Assembly. L-R: CHAIRMAN: HON. S. K.
