JUST IN: GOV. LALONG APPROVES THE APPOINTMENTS OF 14 SPECIAL ADVISERS, 4 HONORARY SPECIAL ADVISERS, OTHERS

Governor Simon Bako Lalong of Plateau State has approved the appointments of 14 Special Advisers, and 4 Honorary Special Advisers for his administration.

Topping the list of Special Advisers and Honorary Special Advisers according to a Plateau State Government press release are, Hon. Diket Plang, and Nde Ezekiel Gomos, respectively.

The release signed by, Dr. Makut Macham, the Director of Press to Governor Lalong stated that, the Governor has also approved the appointments of two (2) Deputy Chiefs of Staff in the Governor’s Office and a Managing Director and Board of the Plateau Minerals Development Company Ltd. (PMDC).

Honorary Special Advisers are:

  1. Nde Ezekiel Gomos
  2. Prof. Ochapa Onazi
  3. Chief Michael Maqual
  4. Maj. Gen. A.C. Agundu (Rtd)

The Deputy Chiefs of Staff in the Governor’s Office are:

  1. Salihu Kwando – Deputy Chief of Staff (General Admin)
  2. Ibrahim Saleh Maitala – Deputy Chief of Staff (Political Affairs)

And, the appointed Managing Director and Board of the Plateau Minerals Development Company Ltd. (PMDC) is, Mr. Kwaplong Mathew Bialwan.

It is to be noted that, the Board is constituted of the following:

  1. H. E. Executive Governor of Plateau State – Chairman
  2. Hon. Commissioner for Minerals Development – Member
  3. Hon. Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftancy Affairs – Member
  4. MD PIPC – Member

According to the release, the Special Advisers would be sworn in on Wednesday, 17th November 2021 at the New Government House, Little Rayfield Jos.
