FOTONEWS: HOW GOVERNOR LALONG RECEIVED VICE PRESIDENT OSINBAJO IN JOS, PLATEAU STATE TODAY

Vice President Yemi Osinbajo was in Jos, the plateau State capital today, for a meeting of the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria.

THE WELCOME

The Vice President, who touched down at the Yakubu Gowon Airport Heipang, was received by Governor Simon Bako Lalong of Plateau State.

Also at the airport to welcome the Vice President were, the Deputy Governor, Prof. Sonni Tyoden, Speaker, Plateau House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Yakubu Sanda, Chief Judge Yakubu Gyang Dakwak and other top Government functionaries.

KILLING OF CHILDREN AND WOMEN IN JOS NORTH AND RIYOM LGAs: HON. AUDU ADO ADERE FROWNS, CALLS FOR JUSTICE

Audu Ado Adere has frowned at the killings of children and women in Dong Kasa in Jos North and Kwi in Riyom Local Government Areas (LGAs) of Plateau State. The former Lawmaker, who was a member the Plateau State House of Assembly and former member of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Congress Committee for 2021 said he is deeply saddened by the reoccurrence of the killings in the state. Hon. Adere, in a statement yesterday, described the act as, “barbaric, callous and a desperate attempt to rupture the peace and security in the two LGAs and the State at large”. 2025 PLATEAU STATE BUDGET: PLATEAU RADIO/TV CORPORATION (PRTVC) COMMENDED BY STATE HOUSE OF ASSEMBLY, OVER 2024 BUDGET PERFORMANCE

Valentine Adese (JP), The Plateau State House of Assembly Standing Committee on Information has commended the leadership of the Plateau Radio/Tv Corporation (PRTC) for what it described as its outstanding performance in the 2024 Budget, even when the year is yet to end. The Committee gave this commendation during the 2025 Plateau State Budget Defence by PRTVC Management, which held in Room 1, at the state House of Assembly. L-R: CHAIRMAN: HON. S. K.
