By: Valentine Adese (JP), Plateau State Governor Simon Bako Lalong has condemned in strong terms the attack on the Medium Security Custodial Centre in Jos, which took place on Sunday, when gunmen reportedly stormed the facility in large numbers with sophisticated weapons. The Plateau State Governor, while condemning the unfortunate incident however, praised the gallantry of officers and men of the Jos Custodial Centre, who rose to the occasion to thwart the plans of the criminals, whose mission was to facilitate the escape of inmates and also cause destruction to the facility. The Vendors, as REALITY gathered, have formed a cartel and have constituted themselves into a price controlling body, which would be determining how drinking water should be sold in the state. You would recall that, REALITY has reported that, 80% of Jos city residents hardly get water supply from government source in the past 5 years.
