The state Commissioner of Police, Mr. Bola Longe, who paraded the suspects on Friday at the Police Command Headquarters in Lafia, alongside 61 others for various criminal offences announced that, two of the  suspects were arrested on 4 th June, 2021, while attempting to pay some money into an account, using Point of Sale (PoS) located around the College of Agriculture in Lafia. The Police Commissioner explained that, a student of the Nasarawa State University, Keffi, and one other person went to deposit N50,000.00 at the POS when the agent discovered some of the notes were fake. The Police made this disclosure in a Press Statement issued in Lafia signed by the Command’s Public Relations Officer (PPRO), ASP. Ramhan Nansel.
